Some watches are designed to be admired in a case. The Breitling Chronomat Slate Grey Dial was designed for the opposite — to be worn until it becomes part of how you're recognized.
Breitling built its name in aviation cockpits, engineering chronographs trusted by pilots worldwide. The brand's tool-watch DNA endures in COSC-certified movements and unmistakably technical case architecture. The Chronomat line channels that legacy directly, translating decades of technical refinement into a shape that feels both familiar and current.
Twin sub-dials sit within the 42mm Stainless Steel case, framing a slate grey dial engineered for split-second legibility under pressure. The pushers are calibrated for a crisp, tactile actuation that racing drivers and pilots alike have relied on for generations.
The engineering rewards a closer look: tight tolerances at every join, a movement regulated to hold its accuracy well past the warranty period, and finishing carried through to surfaces most owners will never inspect closely.
Comfort was never an afterthought: the stainless steel bracelet bracelet tapers naturally toward the clasp, and the 42mm case wears true to size across a range of wrist shapes — equally at home in the office, at dinner, or on a flight.
Consider how it will actually live on your wrist: through early meetings, long flights, weekend errands, and the occasional black-tie evening. The Breitling Chronomat Slate Grey Dial was designed to move through all of it without ever feeling out of place, which is the real test of a watch worth owning.
Every Breitling Chronomat Slate Grey Dial sold through BITLUX is inspected prior to shipping and arrives complete with its full presentation set and documentation. This is a watch chosen not for the moment, but for the years — and the stories — that follow.

Beautiful on the wrist
Wears smaller than I expected in the best way. The dial catches light beautifully and the weight feels substantial without being heavy.

Solid purchase, minor nitpick
Really happy overall. The clasp could feel a touch more premium but the movement and case finishing make up for it.
